ABOUT THE MAN
FROM P.H.O.T.O.

(Photographer Has Old-school TTL Opinions)

The Man started out as a freelance news photographer in Toronto.

He quickly discovered food  and rent were important so he took up commercial photography, setting up studios at various locations in the city.

In the meantime, he joined a motorcycle club and did photos for Harley Davidson dealerships and all manner of bikers.

This wanderlust took the Man to various locales where he plied his trade as a street photographer.

Digital photography arrived and really hurt old-school commercial shooters, so after 20 years the Man decided to change careers and sold all his gear (except his Leica).

He then spent 20 years in law enforcement and never took any photos.

The Man retired with a police pension which now allows him to resume his photographic journey and spend his time in the darkroom making prints which the Man insists is a very stress-free pastime.
